lcb hallway Le Champ Bouchon is situated in the Auvergne, Allier approx 2kms west of Treban on the D33 (see LOCATION page). Situated close to the heart of the Bourbonnais region we are within easy reach of the A71 (Paris - Orleans - Clermont Ferrand and the A77/N7/N9 Paris - Nevers - Lyon(North / South routes) and the RCEA (Route Centre Europe Atlantique - East : West).

Le Champ Bouchon is a typical Bourbonnais longère style farmhouse on which we have spent considerable time in extending the accomodation and facilities since we arrived in France from the UK. On the ground floor we have created an open living space overlooking our garden from what originally was the barn and adjoining cowshed. We have kept the full height of the barn which provides the space for the staircase and a mezzanine library, computer space.

lcb lounge The communal area includes a dining area and comfortable lounge to relax in. There is a separate ground floor toilet. The ground floor bedroom has a larger than standard door to allow for wheel chair passage into the lounge.
